Meet the Corazón Family
Beverly Jansen, the initial founder of Bev’s Equine Products, has devoted her entire life to horses. She has owned and trained Thoroughbreds. Bev is also a Certified Equine Massage Therapist. Beverly’s travels and interactions with horsemen culminated in decades of a long collection of home remedies, natural products, and “tips and tricks of the trade” for maintaining equine health. This, in turn, inspired Beverly to spend countless hours experimenting with equine solutions. Beverly Jansen needed to take her initial formulations to the next generation of consumer products.
Beverly worked with Tania Toney-Parker, a formulation scientist with a Ph.D. and 20+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Tania has experience with a wide range of product formulations and the ability to execute the development, technical transfer, scale-up, and commercial development of all product development activities. In her previous experience, she was also responsible for conducting and authoring investigations and patents, troubleshooting and brainstorming activities surrounding the commercial pipeline for multiple pharmaceutical partners. In 2012, the successful collaboration led to the development and patented products of Bev’s Equine Products (US Patent No. 8,709,501).

Beverly Jansen
Founder
Beverly and Tania collaborated to bring natural remedies to the horse world as well as branching out to help other animal health concerns. They worked together to find an alternative natural solution to the bovine mastitis issue and have initiated some successful studies to potentially providing the dairy industry to a safe and effective natural alternative to large quantities of antibiotics. This potential product alternative is taught in the patent but will require further investigation and will be included in the pipeline of products under development. Beverly endeavored to create an initial company devoted to the equine world's well-being with limited resources and support. Tania continued to work in the commercial industry over the next decade with varied support to Beverly as required while maintaining the patent. The pair created a stable foundation that required a young, creative, and energetic partner to continue their journey.
On August 12, 2022, the company was purchased from Beverly by Tania Toney-Parker and her daughter, Maddison Parker. The company was renamed Corazon Therapeutics. The company's mission is to provide a safe and effective animal health care product line that incorporates natural products for not only the equine world but also across the entire animal kingdom. This journey continues to be a challenge in today’s competitive marketplace. We at Corazon Therapeutics hope to be solution providers for an expansive network of animal health solutions at a fair price.
